Jesus acknowledged the fact that Satan is the ruler of this world in John 14. God allows Satan to be "god" (little "g"), in charge of everything, including our churches and religions of the world, but Christians don't believe what Jesus plainly says about him.
"I will no longer talk much with you, for THE RULER OF THIS WORLD is coming..." (John 14:30.)
Jesus plainly says "the ruler of this world" but even Christians refuse to accept the fact that this means Satan is "god" of this world and ruling over everything just like the true God rules even over Satan.
I am about to show you something that 99% of Christians have never heard before, or fully understand, but is absolutely true according to what the Bible actually SAYS.
Jesus usually avoided publicity. It was not His will for everyone to understand what he taught, or to know who He was at that time.
"The disciples came to him and asked, "Why do you speak to the people in parables?" He replied, "Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them." (Matt 13:10-11)
Jesus was not here to save the whole world at that time, or for the next 2,000 years. Our King who is now in heaven is not controlling what is happening to the vast majority of people and their lives on earth! Surprised? This isn't something your church teaches is it? Well according to the literal words of Jesus, actually recorded in the Bible, God has caused the vast majority of humanity to be blinded to the truth by allowing Satan to rule over and deceive almost the whole world to this day. How does the Satan so easily deceive mankind? It's because the devil is the ruler of this world and almost everyone on it, causing things to happen on a daily basis that feed into his deception and lies for everyone, including most Christians. Let's go back in time to see how this has come about for Satan to become ruler and "god" of this world today.
Most Christians understand that Revelation Chapter 12 takes us back to the beginning and gives us the account of Satan and his demons being cast from heaven down to earth.
"Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven, And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world, he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him." (Rev 12:7-9)
"How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!" (Isaiah 14:12 NKJV)
"And Jesus said to them, I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven". (Luke 10:18)
There is no dispute among any Christians that this event actually occurred. So, now Satan and millions of demons find themselves on the earth right before the creation of man in Genesis chapter 1. The devil was angry and determined to destroy all mankind and any chance we have of living in the very Kingdom he was just cast out of. Satan will use lies and deception for the next 6,000 years to accomplish this goal. The Bible warns us of this danger.
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8)
"The Lord said to Satan, "From where have you come?" Satan answered the Lord and said, "From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it." (Job 1:7) ESV
How can Satan deceive us? How can this deceiver get us to do his bidding? Where does Satan get the authority from to manipulate all human beings, our governments, our schools, and even our churches in this world, in an effort to deceive us and keep us out of God's Kingdom. We find the key in Matthew chapter 4 in a conversation the Satan had with Jesus.
"Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him, "All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me." (Matthew 4:8-9) ESV
Did you notice Jesus did not challenge Satan? The future King of ALL did not correct him and tell him that His Father is "God of This World", the one ruling the kingdoms on earth. Jesus didn't say the devil couldn't give Him something he did not control. Why? Because Jesus knew the truth! Our Lord knew Satan is the one in charge of everything in the world and indeed had the power and authority to give Jesus the kingdoms of the world at that time if Jesus did what Satan said. The Bible repeatedly says that Satan is in charge, that he is "the ruler" and "god of this world" and controls the entire world today.
"Satan, who is the god of this world, ...". (2 Corinthians 4:4)
"We know that.... the whole world lies in the power of the evil one." (1 John 5:19) ESV
".....now the ruler of this world will be cast out." (John 12:31) NKJV
"... because the ruler of this world is judged."(John 16:11) ESV
Yes, this is unsettling because we have always been taught that God is ruling this world today, but the Bible actually shows that He has allowed Satan to rule and influence this world ever since the Garden of Eden. The Bible plainly says SATAN is the GOD OF THIS WORLD. Will you believe what the Bible plainly says? Satan has blinded people to the truth about Jesus and the soon coming Kingdom of God, including Christians, but again most Christians don't believe what the Bible actually says about where we go for our eternal reward. Heaven? What Does The Bible Really Say About Going There?
Satan is the father of lies, from his lie to Eve in the Garden of Eden to the lies he spreads throughout the world today. His evil continues to destroy lives standing as a snare and trap to all people.
The Bible is clear that Satan is powerful. He has the ability to oversee all of the evil in our lives, but his power is limited to matters on the world. So what does he do with his powers on earth to accomplish his evil tasks and goals? The Bible says Satan is the "prince of the power of the air", but what does that mean?
"in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience". (Ephesians 2:2)
What an odd expression that is much more easily understood only in modern times. Satan influences us just like radio broadcasting waves travel invisibly through the air from the transmitter to a receiver, which we then hear with our ears. Satan influences people in the world by "spiritually broadcasting" his evil attitudes and thoughts invisibly through the air to the human spirit, which we process with our minds. Humans unwittingly accept and express these thoughts and attitudes entering our minds, never knowing where they came from, thinking they are their own. Because people have been deceived, they don't know this spiritual broadcasting is from Satan. They have no idea they have been deceived by what they believe are their own thoughts. What we call "Human nature" is actually "Satan's nature", spiritually transmitted to us by him and expressed in our human thoughts and actions. Read this paragraph again to be sure you fully understand what's happening in your mind every moment of the day.
Spiritual truth on the other hand is revealed to Christians by the Holy Spirit, based on what the Bible actually says, not what churches interpret it to say! Spiritual truth is plainly written in God's Word! This is why I teach so strongly to believe what God plainly says in the Bible, as opposed to the "spin" our biased churches teach, or what we personally "think" it says with our Satan influenced minds. What the Bible really SAYS trumps our uninspired opinion on spiritual matters every time!
Satans spiritual broadcasts have deceived church leaders, causing them to misinterpret what God actually says in the Bible, because they refuse to believe that what is plainly written by God applies to all people, including all Christians today! No one can receive the actual truth of scripture though their ears or their eyes, except as the Holy Spirit opens their mind to understanding of what God actually says. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of understanding, imparting to our physical brain spiritual comprehension, the ability to really understand spiritual knowledge, the truth of what is actually, plainly written in the Bible, not some fallible minister, preacher or priests interpretation. God warned us clearly when He said Satan himself can disguise himself in righteousness, so why couldn't he do the same thing to preachers, priests, and ministers? Why can't Satan disguise his demons as preachers, priests, and ministers in YOUR church?
"And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light." (2 Corinthians 11:14) ESV
Satan's work is deceiving the world, turning God's truth upside down in all the churches, spiritually broadcasting his lies to sincere Christian teachers throughout the world who then pass them on to their congregations. We accept false teachings from Satan inspired doctrines as being genuine, thus deceiving even Christians to sin and potentially lose out on their reward in Paradise.
The Bible says this to all Christians.
"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. besides all these, taking the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." (Ephesians 6:11-16) ESV
Did you catch that? "the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God"! It's not your minister's "interpretation" of it. It's not your denominations biased "spin" of it. It's not your preachers "opinion of what God really meant" It is THE LITERAL WORD OF GOD, what He actually plainly says! This is the weapon we use to defeat Satans lies and deception, the sword of the (Holy) spirit which is LITERALLY words God SAYS in the BIBLE!
God gave Satan 6,000 years to rule as "god"of this world to plainly show human beings that Satans way does not work. In spite of millions of Christians walking this world for over 2,000 years, even the majority of them make it clear that doing what THEY think is right in their own eyes, based on what the churches have taught them, doesn't work! The Bible repeatedly addresses this.
"There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death"(Proverbs 14:12)
"Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the hearts" (Proverbs 21:2)
"All a man's ways seem right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the motives"
Does this world look like Jesus is controlling everything? Is He saving everyone in the world today? Is there really a battle going on between Satan and God, to try to get everyone saved now? If there is it's obvious Satan is winning. Look around you if you don't believe me. If Jesus is trying to save the world NOW, It's a disaster! He's losing!
When Satans time expires, Jesus will return and establish the Kingdom (which is literally the government) of God on earth as our KING, and show us the right way to live in peace, love and harmony in this world under true spiritual leadership. The 6,000-year sentence on this world, with the majority being cut off from God, is due to end any time now. Do the math! The 6,000 years of Satan being " god of this world" are over! The Bible says Jesus will rule the world for the next 1,000 years with True Christians reigning along side of Him as Kings and Priests.
"and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen." (Revelation 1:6)
"And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth." (Revelation 5:10)
WE, TRUE CHRISTIANS doing what God actually says, will reign with Jesus in a new earthly paradise, not sitting around on a cloud up in heaven doing nothing but looking at God. Those who are called prior to Christ's return must use the Holy Spirit to read the Bible to see the actual will of God, showing us how to obey Him after we are saved by Jesus. This give us the power to overcome Satan even while he is still ruling this world. This extremely difficult task of True Christians, resisting powerful temptation from Satan, helps qualify us for our ultimate reward, great positions of responsibility in the Kingdom of God right here on a new earth, as kings and priest. Obeying God and doing things He REALLY says in the Bible doesn't earn us salvation, only Jesus' grace and mercy can, but obeying God's laws and commandments AFTER we are saved by Jesus' shed blood does earn us REWARDS in His Kingdom.
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. (Colossians 3:23-24)
"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!" (Matthew 25:21)

Heaven? What Does The Bible Really Say About Going There?
When this world has been freed from Satan's rule, finally freed from his lying deceptions and false influences, Jesus will THEN offer everyone salvation and bring them into the Kingdom he has prepared for us! Read my study about this to learn more.
Today is Not the Only Day of Salvation
God will then pour out His Spirit on all people. including sincere Jesus loving Christians who have been deceived into believing Satans lies, without his interference anymore, and give them their first real opportunity to know and understand the truth.
"And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions." (Joel 2:28-29)
Afterward, not now, the Holy Spirit will open the hearts of ALL PEOPLE, not just a few like today, to understand God's way of life. The people of this world, who have never heard about Jesus and the way of life that leads to salvation, will finally learn God's ways as prophesized by Micah about the Kingdom of God thousands of years ago.
"Many nations will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem." (Micah 4:2)
Satan will not be allowed by God to deceive anyone in His Kingdom during the 1,000 year reign of Jesus on this earth as he does today. Everyone will finally know we should be obeying ALL of God's laws, unlike Christian churches teach today, as "He will teach us his ways"...."The law will go out from Zion".
"Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while." (Revelation 20:1-3) ESV
Jesus will restrain the god of this world then, and bind Satan for 1,000 years, but in the end Satan will finally get his due, eternal suffering in Hell!
"And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them, and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." (Revelation 20:7-10) ESV

It is God's plan that until Jesus returns, only those whom He specially calls NOW can fully understand the truth. Everyone else, including the vast majority of sincere Christians who have professed Jesus as their Savior, will remain deceived and believe the lies of Satan! Perhaps you will be one of the few who will see the truth without the Satans deceptive influence on your mind. Today, YOU can also be one of His disciples to whom Jesus says... "the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you". (Matt 13:11)
